2024 General Assembly Session

The Maryland General Assembly adjourned Sine Die on April 7, 2025 for its 447th Session. PSSAM’s testimony reflected our mission and chosen legislative priorities of all 24 superintendents.

During the 447th Session, PSSAM specifically advocated with recommendations for changes and "course corrections" to The Blueprint to ensure long term success. The recommendations and requests for policy adjustments are result of analysis of student data, qualitative experiences of educators and staff, and thoughtful contemplation of a series of questions surrounding student growth and achievement.  ​​​​
